I write to you today as a Delaware voter and consumer of hemp wellness products in our state. Im reaching out to urge you to vote yes and protect our states small business community via House Bill 401.

Delaware hemp retailers are at risk of immediate closure, House Bill 401 aims to regulate these businesses in a manner by which they can continue to exist while also producing millions in revenue for the state.

These small businesses have been asking to be regulated. House Bill 401 provides clear rules & expectations for age-gating that protects Delawareans. From 21+ age gating requirements, to security access point devices, and high level testing requirements, both Delaware hemp consumers and these businesses stand to benefit.

Delaware consumers by the thousands have been visiting these stores for years and just recently the State has decided to launch a campaign aimed at forced closure. With 250+ businesses, hundreds of owners, and thousands of employees at risk; I am asking you to stand with these small businesses and SUPPORT House Bill 401. Please do not eradicate these businesses, rather regulate and protect them.
