We aim to create a Delaware hemp regulatory framework modeled after West Virginia’s balanced approach, emphasizing safety, transparency, and market access for small businesses. Legislators must be educated with science-based information, and we will share real stories from consumers and business owners to humanize the industry. Thecoalition will identify hemp cultivators, form a product safety group, and present clear guidelines to shape regulation in 2026 and beyond.
Hemp and Marijuana Are Legally Distinct
Federal law (2018 Farm Bill) protects hemp commerce, but Delaware enforcement often blurs hemp with marijuana.
